Opeth and Meshuggah are not death metal bands. There are a lot of death metal influencies in Opeth, but Meshuggah doesn't play death metal, it's a math metal, extreme technical thrash metal, but not death..
My favourite death metal band is of course DEATH ;)
In the melodic death, my favourite is Dark Tranquillity

I don't know, I think Meshuggah are quite unclassifiable... It's something like Mesh metal ahah! :D

Opeth above all, but like also Arch Enemy, Novembre, Death (of course ^^) and a lot of other bands...
I think Meshuggah's songs are part of thrash metal music.... or not?
